There’s nothing quite like a fresh start. New ideas, new experiences, and new chocolate flavours are one bite closer — and that’s especially true for our Inventing Room. With this in mind, we’re unwrapping new creations to dazzle and impress our guests.

From never-seen-before cacao showstoppers to new faces in our best-loved ranges, we can promise that you’re in for a treat. Wondering what we have in store? Let’s take a closer look at what’s to come for Hotel Chocolat in 2025.

Our drinking chocolate range

2024 was a year of innovation for our hot chocolate library. We delivered new, velvety concoctions that elevate every sip into a moment of calm and mindfulness. We embraced exciting flavours and even brought a touch of luxury to the every day with The Velvetiser. 

One standout release of this year has to be the Pecan Cinnamon Hot Chocolate. A warming blend of buttery pecan and cinnamon spice, it’s the classic, comforting bake in sippable chocolate form. This rich, aromatic drink perfectly captured the cosy essence of the season in all its glory.

We can’t forget about the Nuts About Raspberry Hot Chocolate, either. A daring mix of vibrant, zingy raspberries melded with mellow lashings of hazelnut, this creation offered the perfect fruity twist on traditional hot chocolate flavours. With its bright, adventurous flavour profile, this hot chocolate became a go-to choice for those looking for new taste experiences. We almost forgot it was vegan*, too…

Get ready for us to turn up the creativity even further in the future. Our goal is to unveil even more hot chocolate flavours designed to surprise, excite, and inspire. One to look forward to is our Love Ya Honey Hot Chocolate — a golden blend of honey and caramel that promises a warm, sweet hug in every sip.

*We believe this chocolate is suitable for vegans. However, as it is made in the same environment as our milk chocolate, we cannot guarantee it is free from milk.

Selector chocolates

Our Selectors are the perfect way to explore something new or rediscover an old favourite. These handy-sized chocolate bites and Slabs pack all the luxurious quality of our larger collections into a smaller, playful and experimental format. The perfect moment of indulgence or as a thoughtful treat or gift to a loved one.

2024 was definitely a year for bold, creative flavours — but especially for fruity chocolate lovers. The Triple Cherry Selector brought together sumptuous compote, whipped ganache, and a snappable cacao cap, cocooned in a rich dark chocolate casing. The Pineapple & Yuzu Selector packed a punch with its citrusy edge, and other fruity delights like the Passion Fruit Heart Selector and the vibrant Lemon Curd Selector shone through as classic favourites.

For those who craved nostalgic comforts, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Selector and Cinnamon Ginger Slab hit the spot, evoking memories from years gone by with flavours that we all know and love. We also managed to surprise and delight with wildcards like the Habanero Chilli Selector and boozy luxuries like the Kir Royale Selector — something we plan to continue into the future.

In the New Year, we’ll be pushing the creative boundaries of our chocolate even further. Look out for our romantic Valentine’s Heart Selectors, including Strawberry Mousse, Amaretto, and Dark Cashew flavours, blending elegance with playfulness in one adorable heart-shaped design. You’ll be falling in love all over again with our Selectors.

Our chocolate boxes

Our chocolate boxes hit the mark whether you’re gifting for a special occasion or hosting an elegant dinner party. Combining a variety of flavours in one beautifully packaged box, they offer a cacao experience for every palate — the ultimate indulgence to share or savour.

In 2024, we stayed true to our Love Match Quiz ethos, helping guests discover their perfect chocolate pairings. The Selectors and Gift Box Selection offers a curated assortment of fan favourites, ideal for those who love to try a little bit of everything or for those who like to assemble their own presents for loved ones. For nut lovers, our Praline-Milk Chocolate Hazelnuts Gift Tin combines velvety praline with the crunch of perfectly roasted hazelnuts.

Summer 2024 brought a taste of sunshine with the Ice Cream Swirl Summer Box. This refreshing collection featured decadent flavours inspired by classic ice cream treats. Meanwhile, the Summer Cocktails to Chill Box blended fruity and warming alcohol notes for a twist on classic summer beverages. The result? Pure indulgence with a seasonal touch.

As we look to the next year, our focus is on exploring exciting new flavour profiles across our chocolate boxes. Prepare your tastebuds for the satisfyingly zingy Raspberry and Peach Chocolate Hearts, blending sweet, fruity notes with rich cacao to create a romantic, melt-in-the-mouth experience.

Our Easter chocolate collection

Who would we be if we didn’t go all out for Easter? Not Hotel Chocolat, that’s for certain.

Our Easter collection is designed to bring people together, offering chocolate creations that add a touch of indulgence to Easter gatherings far and wide. In 2024, we introduced a couple of standout releases that we believe captured the spirit of Easter in all its cacao glory.

The Nice Slice – Easter Edition offered a playful twist with smooth hazelnut, buttery almond praline, crispy puffed rice, and an Easter surprise of our caramel-milk bunnies to finish. For a taste of the dark side, our Illegal Gianduja Egglets combined melty hazelnut praline sealed in 50% milk chocolate for a memorable bite. 

Wondering what’s hatching in the future? We’re taking our Extra Thick Easter Eggs to new heights with sustainable, cacao pod-inspired packaging. Featuring stunning ombre colourways, each design reflects the flavour within in the form of eight irresistible cacao varieties.
