Created to be used with our revolutionary Velvetiser in-home chocolate system, this is the drinking chocolate that started it all. Delivering a deeply satisfying chocolate hit with rich and dark tones from West African cacao beans and just a hint of sugar.
For the perfect cup just add the milk of your choice - dairy, nut or plant based to the Velvetiser pot. Then add 35g - that’s about 6 teaspoons - of our real
chocolate flakes - before you hit the button. Let our
hot chocolate machine work its magic and 2.5 minutes later you’re holding a cup of barista-grade whipped chocolate velvet in your hands.
No Velvetiser? You can make our Classic 70% Hot Chocolate on the hob but be careful not to boil as that destroys the intriguing top notes of the cacao.
Each 250g pouch is packed with real grated chocolate, nothing else. There are no nasties and the resealable pouch means each cup will taste as rich and satisfying as the last. INSTRUCTIONS
HOT
1. Pour 220ml milk into your Velvetiser.
2. Sprinkle in 6 heaped teaspoons (35g) drinking chocolate.
3. Press the button and let the Velvetiser work its magic.
Alternatively whisk 6 heaped teaspoons (35g) drinking chocolate into 220ml dairy or plant milk and heat gently. Do not boil.
ICED
1. Pour 100ml milk into a tall glass with 6 – 8 ice cubes to get it chilling.
2. Pour another 120ml milk into your Velvetiser.
3. Sprinkle in 6 heaped teaspoons (35g) drinking chocolate, press the button and let the Velvetiser go to work.
4. When ready, pour the warm chocolate into the glass with your chilled milk and watch it mingle. Give it a good stir and enjoy ice-cold refreshment.
