This spicy, deep red wine leaves a freshness in the mouth and a long finish. A rare wine crafted by a boutique winery in the Alentejo of Portugal from four heirloom grape varieties - Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Castelão Francês.

Perfection takes time. That’s why we carried out extensive tastings to find the perfect vineyard for our Chateau Chocolat. We wanted to find grapes with the right elements to create a rich and complex bottle of burgundy.

Pair alongside a selection of our dark chocolates to bring out the red fruit notes of cocoa even more. Although wine and chocolate isn’t an obvious pairing, we think the natural berry flavours of high cocoa chocolate adds a deep smoothness to the wine. Serve after dinner to guests, or settle down with a large glass in front of the TV for a bit of self-indulgence.

Our red is fruity, but still opulent, making it the ideal accompaniment for a cut of red meat at dinner. Venison, beef or game goes superbly with the natural red fruit flavours of our red.
