Some recipes take a bit of work to develop, while others almost seem like a given. Our award-winning Passion Fruit Chocolate selector wrote itself after we discovered a passion fruit puree with a truly remarkable flavour. It was begging to be presented in our luscious high-cocoa white chocolate. These perfectly formed little balls promise to deliver a fruity burst!
There’s nothing quite like the exotic aroma of fresh passionfruit. The colourful juicy flesh and seed-filled centre seems to release the tropical sun which it grows under. That unique tart flavour gives passion fruit its natural ‘oomph’. We felt it was just crying out to be accompanied by creamy white chocolate.
We use a high-cocoa content in our white chocolate to ensure the delicate, subtle notes of cocoa come through. The 36% cocoa-butter content ensures the result is light yet not oversweet. The smooth buttery texture of our white chocolate, along with dainty hints of cocoa, perfectly complement the tanginess of the smooth passion fruit creamy truffle centre.
Our products never contain any artificial colourings or flavours, and the real passion fruit puree in our creamy centre is no exception. These superb bitty balls are delicious eaten straight from the fridge or at room temperature - either way you’re in for a refreshing pop of passion fruit.
