A melting pot of milk and whitechocolate, with a cocoa biscuit crunch. This decadent dessert was made for chocolate-lovers, which is why we thought it was only appropriate to recreate the Mississippi mud pie into chocolate form.

Originating from the US, the Mississippi mud pie might not be the healthiest of desserts, but due to its mouth-watering flavours, we think this is forgivable. Chocolate pastry, chocolate brownie, chocolate cream and whipped cream makes up this indulgent pud - as chocoholics ourselves, we just couldn’t resist capturing these flavours in our Mississippi Mud Pie Chocolate Selector.

Rich, 40% milk chocolate forms the base of our slab; effortlessly smooth and irresistibly rich, our milk chocolate contains all of the nuanced flavours of cocoa to really let cocoa bean shine.

We’ve dotted our slab with the creamiest white chocolate to lift the deep tastes of our milk. We use 36% cocoa butter in our white chocolate to ensure none of the delicate tastes of cocoa butter are lost. In fact, we use a much higher cocoa butter percentage than most, helping us create the smoothest white chocolate which melts effortlessly in the mouth.

Dotted throughout our slab, crisp chocolate biscuits add a delightful crunch, akin to that of the biscuit base in the original dessert. To top it off, we’ve drizzled melted dark chocolate all over our slab to add an extra layer of depth.

Whilst this might be an American invention, we can’t help feeling we’re justified in recreating this indulgent dessert - after all, Americans love adapting British ideas. We just decided to beat them at their own game.
